March 8, 1982 changed my life forever: that's the day I placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Having heard the gospel clearly presented for the first time in my life, I made a promise to God to share the gospel in a clear, concise way with others every chance I could get. I didn't know that promise would lead me to full-time ministry. My passion is to present God's word in a way that is easy for everyone to understand and apply to their lives.
I have been a part of Atlee Church from the beginning, volunteering as part of the team that launched Atlee in 1995. I joined the Atlee staff in 1998, serving in different roles as needed: Student Ministries Director, Small Groups Director, Evangelism Pastor, and since 2003 as Lead Pastor.
I married my best friend and ministry partner, Lanette in December 1982. Our family includes two sons, two daughters (in-law), and the world's greatest granddaughter and grandson.
