In 1968 it took Bernie Kraus, a sound engineer for film
and television, 15 hours of recording time to produce 1
hour of undisturbed natural sounds. Today, in order to
get that same amount of undisturbed natural sound…it
takes him two thousand hours of recording time.
Airplanes, automobiles, cell phones, voice mail, e-mail,
cell phones with voice mail and e-mail; while
convenient, all help to make our lives noisy and busy.
In the midst of it all, our “spiritual eyes” can become
blurry and we find it hard to focus on who God is, much
less, hear His voice. FOCUS, a special worship
experience, is designed to make some space for us to
connect with our Creator through prayer, worship, and
the creative arts.
