Program Director
Position
Filled on 7/7/2005
The program director should have the
spiritual gift of leadership, creative communication;
work well with people, and practical experience and
skills in administration and technical oversight
demanded by the job. This person must have a clear
understanding of Atlee’s vision and values and model
them before others. This is a full time position working
under the direction/supervision of the Senior Pastor and
the Executive Director of Administration.
I.
Seeker Services:
A. Lead
the programming of weekly seeker services.
B. Oversee
and work directly with music director, drama director,
and technical director in the creative process and
implementation of weekly seeker services.
C. Coordinate
programming with the senior pastor and/or teaching
pastor.
D. Provide
for staging and floor direction of each seeker service.
II.
New Community Services:
A. Lead
the programming of new community services.
B. Oversee
and work directly with music director (drama when
appropriate), and technical director in the creative
process and implementation of new community.
C. Coordinate
programming with the senior pastor and/or teaching
pastor.
III.
Promotion:
A. Assist
senior pastor with themes, advertising, and promotion of
seeker services.
B. Assist
senior pastor and/or teaching pastor with themes,
advertising, and promotion of new community.
IV.
Staff relations, coordination/cooperation with other
leaders, personal life:
A. Model and support church’s vision and
core values.
B. Keep staff informed of projects and
challenges.
C. Attend staff meetings and functions.
D.
Provide assistance to pastors as needed.
E.
Protect the unity of church and pray for church leaders.
F. Commitment to family relations and
healthy pace of life.
V.
Goal for program Director:

the arts to create transformational moments in the lives
of others”
