Kidz Klub Director
The primary function of the Kidz Klub director is to
oversee and mange the entire Kidz Klub ministry. The
responsibility of the Kidz Klub Director is to provide
quality care and age appropriate instruction for all
kids (Nursery through 5th grade) at each
Seeker Service and New Community.
It is the role of this director to ensure an
environment of excellence that helps parents feel safe
about leaving their children in order to attend our
services. The role of this director is to provide a
place where children will want to come so they will
learn, grow and develop in their faith. In order to
achieve this goal, this director must have vision, an
eye for excellence, people skills, the ability to teach,
lead, encourage and motivate people.
The following is a list of items this person is
responsible for, but is not limited to.
I. Responsibilities:
A.
Provide programming that is consistent with the
vision, core values and seven-step strategy of the
church.
B.
Coordinate recruitment and enlistment for
elementary teachers, small group leaders, and workers.
C.
Schedule teachers, group leaders, and all other
workers for
all Services.
D.
Manage Kidz Klub Budget.
E.
Oversee set up and take down of this area.
F.
Plan in advance for all lessons.
G.
Oversee purchase of all necessary items/materials
insuring excellent programming and having them in place
each Sunday/New Community.
H.
Provide short term and long range planning that
will develop structure and system that will allow for
future growth.
I.
Continually evaluate the quality of programming
being provided (creativity, material, content, leaders,
space, equipment, etc.)
J.
Provide training and encouragement for
teachers/workers.
K.
Oversee data base/records in church office.
L.
Oversee/Direct Children’s Musicals
M.
Oversee Bible Camp
II.
Staff relations, coordination/cooperation with other
leaders, personal life:
A. Model and support church’s vision and
core values.
B. Keep Staff informed of projects and
challenges.
C. Attend staff meetings.
D.
Provide assistance to pastors as needed.
E. Protect the unity of the church and pray for church
leaders.
F. Maintain good reputation and
relationships.
G. Commitment to family relations and healthy
pace of life.
